The Dyson dc16 Root 6 - A spin From someone Who really Has Used This Handheld Vacuum

The Dyson dc 16 Root 6 is not what you would expect in a handheld vacuum. I feel fine to make a reveal on this stock since I have admittedly used it! I am in the cleaning business, so getting rid of dirt is very leading to me. So, here is my idea and reveal of the handheld vacuum.

To start, the Dyson Root 6 looks like a space gun. No, really. It is very unique in its styling, but at the same time very functional. Dyson has created a handheld vacuum that lives up to its reputation. It is a 21 volt, portable, battery (rechargeable) powered cleaning tool. The same technology that the fine uprights he manufacturers go into this handheld.

Here are the unavoidable comments I have about the Dyson.

The Dyson dc16 Root 6 - A spin From someone Who really Has Used This Handheld Vacuum

1. Power.

The 21 volt motor is large and fine for a battery operated vacuum. It creates a great deal of suction that is excellent for all kinds of quick pick-ups. The dirt and debris it picks up goes directly into a dirt cup. You can pick up just about whatever including tough embedded dirt and gravel from auto interiors, behind doors and baseboards, carpeted and uncarpeted steps, (great suction for pet hair removal).

2. Easy to Keep Clean.

The dirt cup dumps from the bottom, with a publish switch near the trigger for easy dumping of dirt and debris. You can plainly hold the vacuum over a garbage can and press the publish trigger, this reduces a dust cloud from happening. You can wash out the dirt cup very easily.

3. No Filters To Buy.

This might not seem like a big deal, but if you price out most filters for other handheld vacuums, the cost can be - each. And if they do have a filter that needs replacement, you can be sure it was designed to be replaced about once every 2-3 months. This can add up in total stock cost. But, unlike many competitors, the Dyson dc16 Root 6 does not have any filters that you would have to keep buying and replacing. There are 2 washable filters that are easy to pronounce and settled in smart places on the handheld vacuum to sacrifice the chance you will forget about them. One is settled behind the dirt cup, the other on the top of the vacuum motor.

4. 2 Year Warranty.

The stock carries a 2 year warranty, which is unique to the business of vacuums (most are only one year), and covers parts and labor for any defects while normal usage. There is a toll-free estimate right on the vacuum, so if aid is needed, you will have the potential to get help immediately.

5. Great Features and Accessories.

The vacuum has a crevice tool, brush tool and quarterly pick-up nozzle in the box. You also get a charger for the battery, which charges the 21 volt battery in about 3-4 hours from my experience. I do recommend the accessory car kit, which is ready at an added cost, but it contains a very nice extension hose and 3 other tools not included with the hand vac in the base model.

6. Great Value for the Price.

At or nearby 9, this might sound expensive for a handheld vacuum, but, like whatever else, you get what you pay for. You could buy a cheaper hand vac that requires precious filters with a weak motor, or buy a good constructed handheld vacuum and not have to worry about it.

So, what about the negatives. Here are my negative comments.

1. Accessories.

I believe they should have included the accessories for the car kit with the basic package, but, if you don't need to squeeze into tight places, it is no big deal I guess.

2. Bulk.

The Dyson is a limited bulky, perhaps it could be streamlined in the future.

3. Battery Life.

Since it is a cordless, handheld vacuum, the battery does need to be recharged. With Heavy use, the battery could drain out in about 10-15 minutes of constant use. But, for most people, this is not an issue.

I'm sorry, other than that, I have no other negatives for this product. It is a workhorse. I pick up gravel, dirt, paper clips, wood chips, pet hair, dust and all you can think of in a high traffic area.
